Venues

Field Trial

A set of zero-emission landscaping equipment will be sited at one or more golf courses, parks or other grounds for all or part of the summer of 2009. The equipment will be integrated into the existing grounds keeping program. Training will be provided by the manufacturer. Initial field support will be provided locally by Conway Power, with the manufacturers’ experts just a phone call away.

The manufacturer gets field experience, feedback from real customers and public awareness.

The venue gets early experience with these new technologies, good publicity for cutting pollution and carbon footprint, and a chance to be part of the solution.

Showcase Event

We are also planning one or two dates during the summer of 2009 for an exposition of all of the participants in the trial, and more. Perhaps some prototype equipment that is not quite ready for field trial, plus booths for sponsors and venues. We are looking for sites for this showcase – e.g. golf course, shopping center parking lot, business parking lot, Municipal Park.
